… if you’re a US Citibank customer trying to use your ATM card in Canada, Russia, or the UK right now — at ANY network, not just Citibank’s — you may find yourself totally fuxx0red. The call-and-response goes like this:

Citibank customer:
I’m stranded in a foreign country, I need cash, and I can’t withdraw cash from my account.

Citibank drone:
d00d omfg we wuz 0wnz0red, it is teh suck!!!1!1 Go home and we’ll re-issue a new card. Then be prepared to go through this all over again, and again, and again.

Citibank customer:
So even if I fly all the way back to the USA so you can issue me a new ATM card, you can’t promise I won’t be locked out the very next day?

Citibank drone:
yup! kthxbi!

It has been found. The source of the plague of late which has sought to drive me slowly insane at the constant, yet intermittent, appearance of a solitary creature crawling tauntingly in my path of vision. Wits grappled to deceiver their sinister machinations. For what end are they sending this procession of scouts? Surely there must be more! Alas, The vast colony of hundreds if not thousands of their fellows along with white patches which I surmise could only be egg hatcheries (and trepidation at closer examination was stronger than the desire for surety of knowledge). High on a shelf they met their due -genocide- despite my fluttering vegetarian heart. Well, I did not eat them.

Well, insomnia reported about the attorney general doing a speech over at georgetown to some mixed success. Seems like the 60’s again what with law students turning their back on such an illustrious figure. What cheek!
